I was recently asked by my family what it is that I wanted for Christmas, and sadly the answer was; “I’m not sure”. Christmas presents have been the last thing on my mind but it got me thinking. Why not think aloud and do a Christmas Wishlist.
I’m always told that I’m difficult to shop for, and I know, because I more often than anyone else go shopping for myself. I’m a nightmare. But Christmas wishlists are a great excuse to put my feet up and actually browse for what it is I would like under my Christmas tree this year.
The Universe Has Your Back – Gabrielle Bernstein
Gabrielle Bernstein is a well known motivational speaker and life coach/spiritual guru/legend. She has an array of books but her book The Universe Has Your Back particularly speaks to me. (Not literally, of course). Holistic approach to life has been something that has gotten me through the worst times of my life, I’m actually hoping to talk about it on another blog I’m setting up called October Smiled. But I have been going through a rough patch lately and had some rather devastating news, so I feel I could do with another hit of holistic love.
Small Great Things – Jodi Picoult
Jodi Picoult has written over 20 novels, all of which I’m sure are fantastic but earlier this year when reading through a list of books women in their 20s should read, I came across Small Great Things. I wont spoil it for you, but the story is said to tackle some serious things such as privilege, race, prejudice and justice. I’m certainly hoping to get my hands on this this Christmas.
Kate Spade Créme de la Créme Mug
Kate Spade has long been a favourite home-wares brand of mine, although I love everything she does. I’m also a big mug lover so it’s a win win!
Huda Faux Mink Lashes Jade #13
False eyelashes are something I’m just starting to get into, and I’m a fan of the full, whispie lashes. I’m smitten by this pair sold at Cult Beauty by Huda Kattan.
Simply Silver by John Richards Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia Studs
You can never go wrong with a pair of cubic zirconia studs. You just can’t. And I don’t know what I’m doing with mine but I find I have to replace them once every year or so.
Olivia Burton Womens Leather Strap Watch
For years now I’ve had my eyes on Olivia Burton’s watches. One of these days I’ll save up enough money to display one of these on my arm, but for now I’ll have to just dream. I’m just swooning over the colours in this line.
New Look Burgundy Chain Satchel Bag
This beautiful shade of burgundy is something I would be proud to tote around on my shoulder. It’s beautiful fall/winter colours, and it’s simple chain work has me drooling. Well done New Look, well done.
Kate Spade Gingerbread Keyring
Kate Spade is one of the few brands where price is of no consequence to me. I’ve only ever owned two things from Kate Spade, a notebook and a phone case, and I would never shell out £60 for a keyring unless I had a money tree growing in the back yard. But I couldn’t resist putting this in the post as it’s just so damn cute!
Pandora Luminous Leaves Ring
I’ve recently become quite enchanted with pearls. Not just pearls in jewellery, pearls in general, how they’re made and how they get so beautiful. So I adore this ring from Pandora with a salt-water pearl on a crown of leaves.
New Look Dark Red Zip Purse
I am in desperate need of a new purse, and I’m loving burgundy’s and burnt oranges and reds this year. So naturally I loved this purse from New Look, plus it’s big enough to fit all of my beauty cards inside!
